Job Description:


An internationally – leading Media company is looking to put in place a Publishing Sales Executive to be based in Cape Town. This individual will be responsible for the building Client relationships across multiple countries, and managing the full sales function, of the Power & Energy sector, on a multi-channel platform.


  • Responsible for managing a client portfolio in excess of R5 million per annum
  • Generating new clients
  • Developing business from existing clients
  • Selling print and online advertising packages
  • Identifying key clients and creating bespoke marketing packages to sell print and digital advertising
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and strong feedback to Sales Director, editorial and content teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive and demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 years + media sales experience specializing in print or online media
  • B2B media sales experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Individual should be willing to travel
  • Relevant Sales / Marketing qualification
  • International sales exposure (US, Europe, China & India)
  • Must be south African, or have a valid Work permit for South Africa
